Senior Instructor John LaMaster (mathematical sciences) was honored by the Online Learning Consortium (OLC) with the Excellence and Innovation in Online Teaching award at the OLC Accelerate conference, in Orlando, Florida, Nov. 15-17.
Kathleen S. Ives, D.M., OLC’s CEO and executive director, stated, “This year’s class of fellows and award recipients represent extraordinary examples of the innovation happening in digital teaching and learning today.”
The award represents an online-teaching-award hat-trick for LaMaster, who also receive the 2016 IPFW Excellence in Online Teaching and 2017 Purdue Innovative Course Design and Use of Technology awards. Also, in August, he received the 2017 Leepoxy Award for Undergraduate Teaching. You can read more about the other 2017 awards, here.
