Philosophy Majors at the Saint Louis Undergraduate Philosophy Conference

Two philosophy majors will present papers at the Saint Louis University Fifth Annual Undergraduate Philosophy Conference on March 31 and April 1, 2017. Kevin Smith will present, “Cicero’s Treatment of The Idle Argument in De Fato” and Matthew Wyss will present, “The Phenomenology of Loneliness.” Both students originally wrote the accepted papers for IPFW classes: Smith’s paper was written for Assistant Professor Charlene Elsby’s class, History of Ancient Philosophy, and Wyss wrote his in Elsby’s Phenomenology course.

Smith and Wyss’s travel to this conference will be supported by the Philosophy Program, the College of Arts and Sciences, and the Office of Sponsored Programs.
