Panel Discussion on Trump’s Immigration Order

It was standing room only during the IPFW panel discussion of President Trump’s executive order on immigration, held on February 2. Professors James Lutz and Michael Wolf were joined by Associate Professors James Toole and Georgia Wralstad-Ulmschneider from the Department of Political Science, for a panel discussion moderated by Continuing Lecturer of Arabic and Honors Program Director Farah Combs. A large turnout of students and community members attended and brought a host of questions for the panelists.

Due to strong community interest, an additional opportunity to engage with this panel will be available this Thursday, February 16, at 6 pm in the Theater Room of the Main Branch of the Allen County Public Library. Groups sponsoring this event include: IPFW’s Department of Political Science, Peace and Conflict Studies Program, Honors Program, University Community Conversation (UC2), People for the Common Good, and the Fort Wayne International Affairs Forum.

For more information, see the Honors Program or the Department of Political Science Facebook pages or the IPFW press release.
